LOCAL ENTERPRISES WITH CULTURAL AUTHENTICITY

HANDICRAFT WORKSHOP "NATIVE FIBERS"

It is a workshop located just 5 minutes from the Control and Surveillance Post (CSP) of Pómac. In this space, recreational activities on native cotton and the sale of products derived from it, through interpretive workshops based on the use of ancestral techniques that are still in practice among the Muchik populations settled in the buffer zones and is an excellent space for awareness and introduction to the Bosque de Pómac Historic Sanctuary.

BEEKEEPING WORKSHOP "ABIEL DEL NORTE"

Workshop located only 5 minutes from the Control and Surveillance Post (CSP) of Íllimo. In this environmental space, visitors can learn how technified beekeeping was introduced in the Bosque de Pómac Historic Sanctuary.

It also has several beehives where bees live, where visitors are provided with the necessary equipment to carry out safe experiential activities on bee breeding and care, as well as the sale of bee products such as honey, royal jelly, propolis, wax, and pollen.

ASSOCIATION OF TOURIST PROMOTERS OF THE PÓMAC FOREST - APROTUR

It is a representative undertaking of the Bosque de Pómac Historic Sanctuary, which provides tourist services such as local orientation, transportation, food, and souvenirs.

To enrich the experience of your visit, local guides have been trained to transmit the new scripts and tourist activities of the national protected area, presenting content and concepts that will allow visitors to learn, understand and internalize the importance of conserving all the cultural and natural heritage that protects the Pómac Forest.
